Saute express.

I bought some Salmon at Safeway. Right then, I found this Saute starter too. What a quick way to have all the herbs and seasoning done for you in a square.
After opening the packet, the herbs smell reminded me of Subway.
I used up the remaining butter in salad. I should have kept some for bites of salmon. Then the flavour would have been perfect.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
