I made Melting Moments from Complete childrens cookbook. They turned thin, spread out than in the book. A close, double proportion recipe is this Melting Moments recipe. Like in this recipe, if the DK book went with 8 tbsp instead of 12 tbsp of butter, then probably the cookies would have turned out as intended. Maybe using, muffin pans might correct the problem a bit, by not letting them thin out so much.
Cornstarch is the magic. Needs no eggs. Chocolate sauce made melting 3.5 oz chocolate with 2tbsp cream was the filling for the melting moments made with cocoa powder mixed into the batter.
I want to make these rice flour jam cookies and Melting moments eggless cookies with cornflour.
