I had to use up bananas. Didnt have blueberries, so used strawberries and friend's recommendations. This morning, I took a bread slice out to dip it in tea for breakfast. Before that I wanted to taste a bit of the Easy Moist Banana Strawberry Muffin. And in that attempt, I ate the whole muffin and had to call it a breakfast, leaving the slice for another time. The muffin was very soft. A friend told about the banana resurrection which turned out to be a hoax.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
