Chicken salad with Wonton Strips

While eating the Wonton strips, the big realisation is that wonton crisps are like Namkeen or Nimki.The salad tastes good with all the additions, but I might have overdone the addition, towards the end, felt too heavy. And the knowledge about the calorie intake didnt go well.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
