At the mercy of pantry

I used up baking powder for Olive oil cake. That will make the lettering for Father's day. For the next batter, to submerge the letters in surprise, it now has to be a cake that does not require butter and baking powder, a Sponge Cake.

Pineapples in the pantry are the best air fresheners that can be. With cut pineapple around, I was very tempted to make pineapple-upside-down cake.
