I was making bell pepper curry. I didnt have the patience to soak tamarind in water. Then I thought about the lemon pepper. In it went. Next to the lemon pepper container, was a can of black chili beans. By proximity, black beans made its way into the curry.
Sometimes lentils and beans are added to green leafy vegetables curry for comic relief.
For exa, soaked chana dal in spinach curry.
beans or garlic cloves in gongura.
