Carrot Croissant Pudding

Most Croissant puddings called for heavy cream. Trip to grocery store is not an option. This Quick Croissant Pudding calls for condensed milk which I did stack in the refrigerator.
And then when I had to put the fruit cocktail in, I thought why not Carrots from Green Giant veggie Blend-ins and if that wasnt enough, this recipe would also have the butternut squash in it.
With Butter Pecan icecream, Carrot Butter Croissant Pudding goes really well. And the condensed milk speaks louder than the butter and the thin layers of croissant.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
