Bajjis, Rain and tea

Yesterday when it was raining, a friend sent an email about it and wondered if any one was making bajjis. I love mysore bonda. Mysore bajji.
Serrano bajji. From the same cook, other stuffings for bajjis.
Coconut chutney. I used equal proprtion dal and coconut.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
