Mango cupcakes

The strawberry idea on the white cake mix wasnt very enticing. With fresh fruits like mango and kiwi on the aisles, winners were already chosen. I was not sure how the cupcakes would turn out, so I put meagre amounts. People had to look for them and still didnt find the fruit. The mango was so soft after baked that now I think, I should have added loads of it.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
