This morning when we woke up, my daughter along tagged along with me to the restroom or so I thought, but her destination is 'chocolate', may be she dreamt of it. A bit later she wiggled a chocolae out of me. the trouble began after she wanted another like she never had one. My dad suggested an apple in the place of a chocolate, and I said banana thinking of the mashable ripe one and she took it along further and said that she wants to mix, mix, mix. Quickly I had to find a recipe while she was mashing the banana.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
