David Vs Goliath in baking

Miss Sarah Jones, Founder of Miss Jones Baking Co, set out to make cake and frosting "with pure and simple ingredients that deliver homemade, baked-with-love taste".

The organic frosting is made with coconut oil. They are available in buttercream as well as cream cheese base. Confetti Pop, Peppermint, Salted Caramel, Cinnamon Sugar, Vanilla and Chocolate are the frosting flavors. There is a gluten free version of confetti pop.

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
