Salty Noodles




I added 3 sachets of the chili flakes from pizza places and some salt. And thats it. they are too salty like olives brined (at Costco, oveheard someone calling them the best they ever had. sp I tried. Please keep a glass of water next to you.).
Congealed. tasted like starch. Diluting makes it better.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
