We had Samosa, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Paratha roll and Peshawari Namkeen Karahi.

Samosa in the picture looked ethereal, but what was on our plate was ok. Chicken Biryani is impressive in taste and quantity. Spicy.
Chicken Paratha roll had mint and mirchi chutney, with all its concomitant kick of spice.
The owner said that Peshawari Namkeen Karahi is a traditional dish for which people travel from Tucson. He also said that some of his customers think that in the future, he will be exclusively selling that dish. In reference with this dish he referred to Namak Mandi or salt market.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on  caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard.  all purpose flour plays the corn starch  role of thickening the custard. I used  Parle G  instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke  can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
