Kids and Icecream

All kids love icecream and chocolate. You might say except one and each person might know just one person who doesnt like them.
Given the popularity of icecream, if I am in the vicinity of kids, I will break into icecream making.
Between icecream and hot beverages, I will opt for the hot stuff but recently I did have tutti frutti ice cream. Its a great flavour.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
