Kaiserschmarren served along with icecream.

At a conference in Singapore, some friends from Austria, shared mozart chocolate balls. Austrian desserts, from the name itself you can tell that it doesnt need the dessert's specifi name to be spectacular as long as it is from Austria.

The instructions for this recipe asked frying the batter, all that in 30 sec on low heat. Wonder what they meant and later theres a call for caramelizing the powdered sugar which would have been

better with instructions.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
