Chocolate oats pudding

Going for a casual dinner to a friends, I made a curry and without thinking of making a dessert, I had to see if there was something quick that I could make. Fudge brownies needed evaporated milk which would mean a trip to the Safeway in cold. Chocolate flake pudding seemed interesting. very easy to make, not much mixing effort. Good ROI.

Talking of which is an interesting number Two ingredient recipes. Making a cake with an icecream sounds great. My complaint that icecream is too cold wont stand.

I am tempted to make molasses cookies.

Banana pudding

I went over the roasted banana pudding recipe from yesterday and found it too consuming (shopping time, dishes, baking time), I finally decided on caramelized banana pudding . And meringue making is merry. Flour is used in making the custard. all purpose flour plays the corn starch role of thickening the custard. I used Parle G instead of vanilla wafers.

Streit's Potato Pancake Mix

In went some Indian spices - Cumin, Dhanajiru powder, pepper and salt. Had it with green mirchi chutney and dahi. Tasted like vada. Vegeterian Kishke can be made with carrots and celery added to the potato pancake mix.
